We’re thrilled to kick off 2025 with exciting news about Braille FORK! Sample copies of the Braille edition playing cards have arrived, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

Reconnecting for Braille FORK Progress

Hi everyone,
I wanted to give you an update on something you may remember from a while back—we had plans to create a Braille version of FORK. Over the past year, that progress unfortunately stalled. I hadn’t heard from the printer, and despite my efforts, I couldn’t find another printer capable of producing plastic Braille cards. It was frustrating, to say the least.
But here’s where things took an unexpected turn. During Spiel this year, the owner of the original printing company actually stopped by our booth! They asked if we were still interested in making Braille card games. It turns out that for some reason, our emails had not been going through, so we both thought the other had gone silent. It was a huge relief to reconnect and get the conversation back on track.
Shortly after Spiel, we jumped into action and finalized the graphic files for the sample copies. It’s going to take some time to produce, and, as you can imagine, the cost of these specialized samples is quite high. That said, we’re on track to pick up the sample copies in Taiwan by early December.
Once we have the samples in hand, the next step will be crucial testing. This includes visits to the Braille Institute and other related organizations to ensure that the cards are not only functional but also practical for players who use Braille. Based on the feedback we receive, we’ll make any necessary adjustments.
I can’t make any concrete promises just yet, but the goal is still very much to bring Braille FORK to life. Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward on this journey! Thanks again for your patience and support.

Fulfillment Continues

Dear Backers,
Happy Holidays!
As of yesterday, the first phase of fulfillment was completed in mid-November, and I have heard many backers have received their pledges. This phase consists mostly of Pocket FORK. The second phase of the fulfillment is US only and it is almost done. We still have four packages that are still waiting for add-ons. The third phase or the final phase will begin to ship at the end of this week and the first few days of next week.
Shipments usually take about two to three weeks to arrive. If you do not receive your pledge by the end of the year, please message me and let me know.
Box FORK
PLEASE NOTE, that the back of BOX FORK states that the package contains stickers and hand-drawn player aid. Sorry, they are not in the box. They are in a separate plastic bag. If you intend to give away BOX FORK, please also give them the plastic bag that contains the two owl stickers and the hand-drawn player aid. Thank you for your understanding.
Deluxe Box FORK
We have about 70 copies of Deluxe Box FORK left. You can still order them on Backerkit before the price increases. Click HERE.
Braille FORK
No, I did not forget. I am going to try to make a few copies of samples in Dec/Jan and will keep you guys updated. With luck, we can launch Braille FORK on Kickstarter after the summer of 2024.

Fulfillment

Dear Friends,
We shall begin fulfillment this week. This week we will fulfill 30% of the pledges, mostly Pocket FORK. Backers should receive their pledges in around two weeks.
In the same week, this week, the printer will finish packaging Box FORK and Deluxe Box FORK. The first video below is for Box FORK, and the one after is for Deluxe Box FORK.
Next week, they will be delivered to the fulfillment center for fulfillment. If nothing goes wrong, everyone will receive their pledges before the middle of December. if you have any questions, please feel free to message me via Kickstarter.
