Dear Backers,
Sorry for the late update. Let's have some updates :)
PRODUCTION
OWL STICKERS. Every backer is supposed to receive two 2" owl vinyl stickers. We upgraded them to 3", yay! The printer did a good job making them, and they were all done in September. The glitch was the printer FedEx all 1500 stickers to me. Huh? They were supposed to be packed with a player aid hand-drawn by Lili Chin and then sent to the fulfillment center. Anyway, since the printer has a booth at the Spiel, I carried the stickers to the Spiel, so the printer could bring them back to China.
ACTIVE PLAYER MARKERS AND COASTER. While I was there returning 1500 stickers to them, they brought me markers and coasters to approve. They are perfect. I LOVE THEM!!! As a reminder, use the fork marker only during the game. It's not quite suitable for dining :)
BOXES AND SCOREBOARD. There were a few issues with the graphic files on the scoreboard and boxes for Box FORK and Deluxe Box FORK. Issues are now resolved. Last night, we also approved the pre-production digital print, and they are ready to print.
FULFILLMENT - LOCKING MAILING ADDRESS
We are still shooting November for fulfillment. We also made a request to fulfill Pocket FORK first because it is pretty much ready. Nonetheless, we will be locking your mailing address very soon. Shortly after this update is posted, you should receive an email notification. You can use it to verify your mailing address and update it if necessary. If your address is still current, just ignore it.
SPIEL
Spiel '23 was a blast! Do you know what's my favorite thing to do? Meeting backers :) The world is getting smaller but having a chance to meet you guys is always a joy. Below is Mr. FORK, one of the FORK backers. He is a little more famous now because his name is on the game box LOL. Thank you so much for dropping by!!!

I also get to sign a few games. So happy to sign my little games. Do you know when singing games now, I sign them in Chinese :)
Finally, we gave away a pair of fox plushies daily. Freya and Fawna are one of the major attractions in the booth. People love petting them or poking them :) Congrats people!

Essen Spiel 2023 and Production

Dear Friends,
PRODUCTION / FULFILLMENT
Pocket FORK should be done in a few weeks, and a limited amount will be available to purchase at Essen Spiel 2023. For more information, click HERE.
Box FORK will take a bit more time to produce and pack because they have more components such as expansions and coasters. Nonetheless, they should be done by the end of September.
Fox plushies are done! Some of them are going to our China fulfillment today waiting to be fulfilled with games.
If everything goes as planned, fulfillment will begin in October, and you should receive your pledge in November.
ESSEN SPIEL 2023
We will be at Essen Spiel 2023 this year in booth# 2B131. That's Hall 2 - Booth# 131. Would you visit us and learn how to play FORK? If you are coming, don't forget to go early and get a raffle ticket to win prizes :) Click HERE for more information.

Braille / Pre-order / Production

August Update!
BRAILLE FORK
Unfortunately, we have to cancel Braille FORK because we didn't have enough orders. If you have selected Braille FORK in the pre-order, the item is removed and your total should be updated.
The sample copy was supposed to start printing, but we found more problems with the graphic files. To prevent loss of time in production and delay in fulfillment, we will continue to work on Braille FORK after fulfillment.
PRE-ORDER
We will lock the pledge manager and pre-order next Tuesday. Any item that you added to your pledge will be processed shortly after.
If you know someone who would enjoy playing FORK, please share the pre-order link with them before it ends. Thank you again for your support!
We are still on schedule. Printing will start sometime in August, and we will try to process fulfillment in October. We have polished the box and cards. For the latest rules, click HERE.

How's your summer? It's really hot in LA. Hope you are doing fine and staying cool :)
PRODUCTION
We have made a deposit for the game production and now just working on the graphic files. As for the plushies, they are paid in full, and the manufacturer is making them right now. Can't wait :)
BRAILLE
The braille project was in limbo because of funding and technical difficulty. I even told people it would be postponed for at least another year.
A few weeks ago, I decided to cut down FORK's production quantity. Production costs for the non-braille FORK will be higher now but It will help to lower the requirement to unlock Braille FORK. For now, we have decreased the goal to a third. Hopefully, Braille FORK will be unlocked soon.
As for the technical difficulty, it's something I need to learn and adjust. I thought my tiny little brain hit a dead end. With better luck and communication, we worked it out. Last week, we will try to get sample files approved. This week, we completed all the necessary files to make production samples. Once the files are approved, the next step is to wait for the samples to come.
We will be at SDCC San Diego Comic-Con this week and Gen-Con in early August. In SDCC, we have two demo tables in the Mezzanine Room 15A/B. It's Table #23 and 24. We will have ...

At Gen-Con, we have 20 events demoing FORK, In the Stars, and 1-2-3 Cheese. Most of the time we will be at Stadium : Field : Red : 27.
On Thursday at 2 pm, we will demo 1-2-3 Cheese at Backerkit's booth (260).
On Friday and Saturday from 2 pm to 6 pm, we will be in Double Exposure promoting In the Stars.

Hope you are doing well and thank you for your patience. We have some important updates for you and please let us know if we have missed any.
PRINT QUANTITY AND DISTRIBUTION
Pocket FORK - Original. Print quantity est 3000.
Pocket FORK - Team Owl. Print quantity est 500 to 1000.
Pocket FORK - Team FORK. Print quantity est 500 to 1000.
BOX FORK. Quantity: Print quantity est less 500. The game box will label "Deluxe". Not available in distribution and Spiel 2023.
DELUXE BOX FORK. Print quantity est less than 500. The game box will label "Kickstarter Exclusive". Not available in distribution and Spiel 2023.
We made this information to you for a few reasons. One, due to printing, shipping, and warehousing cost, we are making a small print run on the box editions and a small change on the box label. Pocket FORK Team Owl and Team FORK will be limited items as well because we really don't need three pocket packages of the same game. But they are a fun collectible gift item for the Kickstarter project. Finally, the box edition will not be available in Spiel 2023 because logistic doesn't add up for a small publisher like us.
TORTOISE EXPANSION SET
This is the last expansion art we needed. Thank you Lili!
Tortoise/Turtle are number 1.1. In the game, they are resolved after rabbits (#2 to #7) and before kale (#1). If there is one kale, the tortoise scores a kale. If there are two or more kale, the tortoise scores a kale and discards a kale. (hmmm, I should put a little red "x" below one of the kale)
